Jurm Bangla Desk: Asif Nazrul, Advisor to Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry, said that an expatriate should not be harassed under any circumstances. Don't feel guilty, we have zero tolerance for this.

The expatriate welfare advisor said all this in a press conference at the Expatriate Welfare Ministry on Tuesday (September 24).

He also said that in the next two weeks to a month, the workers going to the Middle East will get VIP service at the airport.

He also said, based on the interest and enthusiasm of the chief adviser, we will give VIP service at the airport to those who are remittance fighters. When a VIP goes to the airport, they are accompanied by someone for baggage and checking, and someone at immigration. At each level we will introduce similar services.

Apart from this, he said, in the first phase we have targeted the Middle East, Europe will be done later. Most of our labor markets are in the Middle East. In the first tier, workers going to the Middle East will receive VIP-like service when they return. We are thinking of using the lounge. It is much later work.

Apart from that, he said, in the next two weeks to one month, apart from using the lounge, a separate immigration counter will be arranged. But for that you have to talk to the authorities. Expatriate welfare desk staff will stand by and help at every level. If necessary we will hire trained staff through outsourcing. We will implement that in two weeks to one month.

Incidentally, Advisor Asif Nazrul spoke for the first time officially after taking charge of Ministry of Expatriate Welfare. He is serving as an advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Culture.
