Additional DIG letter to ACC on search of 6 houses in four flood affected countries

Jumbangla Desk: A letter has been sent to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) asking for an investigation into the allegations of the Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (Additional DIG) Praloy Kumar Jowardar having six houses in four countries.

On Tuesday (September 24), the applicant lawyer said. Zia Uddin himself told this information to the media. He also said that legal action will be taken later if ACC does not take proper action in this regard.

The report titled 'Additional DIG Praloy Kumar has settled in 6 cities of four countries' published in Daily Desh Rupantar newspaper on September 20 has been added to the application.

According to that report, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (Additional DIG) of Awami League Government Praloy Kumar Jowardar. Even after the fall of the Awami League government, no one had the courage to open up about his misdeeds. Praloy Kumar Jowardar captured the Dhalai river in Barhatta Jhitan village of Netrakona and made a fishery. It is also alleged against him that he has engaged in billions of rupees by giving employment to 4-500 people in various offices in different areas of the district. In addition, he created an empire of domination in the area. However, the father of Praloy Kumar Jowardar claims that his son has given the job for free. Praloy Kumar is the son of Upendra Jowardar of village Jhitan of Barhatta Sadar Union of Jowardar Upazila.

The report also mentions that although Praloy Kumar has a tidy house and little wealth in the area, he also owns several flats including a seven-storey house in Uttara of Dhaka. Apart from this, he has built mountains of wealth and houses in different countries. In between, he has lived in Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi in India. However, it is known through one of his close relatives that he has also done developer business in Delhi. Lived in Singapore, London, United Kingdom and America. Especially wherever he treated his wife, he made a home there. He was also one of the planners to suppress the student crowd when the anti-discrimination movement started.
