A complaint has been lodged with BRTC against Noor-e-Alam regarding the sale of buses. A copy of which has come to hand. Where it can be seen, Nur-e-Alam was the Unit Head of Kalyanpur Bus Depot of BRTC. On March 9 last year, he cut and sold a Dhaka Metro-CH-7360 registration number bus outside the depot without permission from the authorities.


Manager (Technical) said that he was directly involved in this matter. Moniruzzaman's investigation has proven. BRT also found that the bus was registered in the name of BRTC.


Noor-e-Alam has been charged with negligence, misconduct, fraud and embezzlement under 39 (a), (b) and (f) of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation Employees Employment Regulations, 1990, when the bus sale case is proven in the investigation.

Noor e Alam got promoted even though he was accused of such an incident and far from punishment. Now he is serving as the secretary in the head office of BRCT.


The manager of BRTC who is in charge of the investigation committee consisting of depot bus sale. Moniruzzaman said, 'I have got proper proof of selling the bus. Some who were in charge at that time gave direct evidence to the inquiry committee that he had sold the bus with ulterior motives. And that's why he gave financial support to some officials. We have submitted a complaint to BRTC regarding those matters.


Several attempts were made to contact Noor-e-Alam on the phone regarding these allegations, but he did not receive calls. Even after sending a message, there was no reply.

When asked about the overall issue, BRTC spokesperson Mohammad Mubarak Hossain Majumdar said that Nur e Alam is currently on duty as the secretary of BRTC. There are several allegations against him that are being investigated. Departmental action will be taken from BRTC regarding that.
