Strike call to cancel Bangladesh-India match

Jumbangla Desk:  The Hindu Mahasabha has been calling for the cancellation of the matches of the Bangladesh cricket team for a long time. The Indian Cricket Board has announced that it will try its best to cancel the second Test of the series in Kanpur, but so far the Indian Cricket Board has not heeded the announcement.

In the meantime, the religious-based political party has announced that the T20 match between Bangladesh and India will not take place on October 6.

The Hindu Mahasabha has been demanding the cancellation of the match against Bangladesh for a long time in protest against attacks on Sanatan religious people in Bangladesh. They are particularly vocal about canceling the second Test in Kanpur and the first T20 match in Gwalior. Because, these two venues have a little strong Mahasabha in the area.

The vice-president of the party, Joyveer Bharadwaj, claims that Hindus are being tortured and temples destroyed in Bangladesh. He said, 'We will not allow the match to take place here. It was decided in our meeting that when the Bangladesh team comes to Gwalior, we will protest.' The Hindu Mahasabha has called for a 'Gwalior Bandh' on the day of the match. However, it has been reported that the emergency services will not be covered.

However, the Gwalior police has asked everyone to be safe regarding security. An officer said, 'I have taken action. It is not a big group that can disturb the law and order of the city. Adequate measures have been taken for the safety of people.'

Since 2010, no international matches have been played in Gwalior. The upcoming match on October 6 is therefore very important for Gwalior.
