The US President assured to stand by the Bangladesh government in the reconstruction of the country.

Diplomatic sources in New York say that the heads of state and government of Bangladesh have met and talked in the past at the reception of the President of the United States. But this is the first official meeting in New York, which is a rare event in history.

The press wing of the chief adviser said, Dr. Muhammad Yunus handed over the art book to the Prime Minister of Canada at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The book features some of the best artworks painted by young students on the walls of Dhaka and other cities and towns during the July-August student-led walk. Soon after Yunus was sworn in as the chief adviser to the Interwarti government, he ordered the release of this artbook.

Dhaka is known as the graffiti capital of the world due to the paintings and drawings of young painters. The walls become a giant canvas of protest. They have written various creative and heartwarming slogans and poems to convey various powerful messages to the government. These messages are artistic reflections of the spirit of revolution and the desire of Bangladesh without discrimination. The students conveyed the message of liberation through artworks to garner the support of the countrymen.

These beautiful and eye-catching artworks of students' dreams and desires, mixed with the sweetness of their hearts, change the face of the entire Dhaka city. Many of these graffitis have gone viral on social media. Appreciation of people from all walks of life.

The event began at 8 a.m. local time on Tuesday at the UN headquarters in New York, where the UN Secretary-General welcomed world leaders attending the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

At the reception, Professor Yunus exchanged greetings with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Mauritius President Prithviraj Singh Rupan and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk among others. Professor Yunus arrived in New York on Monday to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
