Jumbangla Desk: Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, has urged political parties to be united in the reconstruction of the state. He made this call in a video message published on Facebook.

The 2 minutes and 10 seconds video was shared by Hasnat Abdullah on his verified Facebook ID. In that video message, he said, 'We think our movement is over. We have a wrong concept here. Various political parties are fueling this concept. These are the political parties that rise above greatness… The way BNP has resisted a fascist government in the last 16 years is significant.

No doubt we have to search whether any other political party has shown this kind of resistance in the past. BNP has undoubtedly played a significant role in that space. Japa has played a significant role.'

He further said, 'Shibir and Jamaat have been dehumanised. Take a camp one by one, hold it and kill it. This sentence has been normalized. That is, a minimum human dignity that a person should have, if it is camped, it will not be there, it has also been normalized.

Everyone has come down in this movement, rising above different political parties. Now this movement later divided us. We all came together during destruction and are now separated when construction takes place. 47 later it happened, 71 later it happened, 90 later it happened. Now you will decide whether the benefit of this separation is positive or negative for us in the state structure.'
