UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres gave a welcome address after the session started. He said, we are facing a global change, which we have never seen before. These changes must be dealt with globally. The war is escalating and I see no end in sight.

World leaders are gathering at the 79th UN General Session at a time when conflicts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East are on the rise. Conflicts in the Middle East, Ukraine and Sudan are raising fears of a major war. It is expected that the world leaders will raise their voice in this session to stop the war.

US President Joe Biden is waiting to deliver his fourth and final address to the United Nations. The White House said, in this speech, Biden will highlight the current global crisis.
