Jumbangla Desk: At least half a hundred people, including police and journalists, were injured in the clash between two groups of villagers over a trivial incident. On Tuesday (September 24), the clash lasted for several hours between Uchaliapara and Badda Para of Sarail Upazila Sadar in Brahmanbaria.

Traffic on Sarail Nasirnagar regional road was blocked during the clashes. Sarail Thana police and army personnel reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
According to the police and witnesses, in the morning, a motorcyclist named Aman Mia of Uchalia Para village had an argument with Ershad Ali, a van driver of neighboring Badda Para village, over the collision of a motorcycle with a van. At one point there was a fight between them.
Later, when this news spread in both the villages, tension arose. At one point the villagers of Uchaliapara and Baddapara clashed with indigenous weapons. At least half a hundred people were injured on both sides during the clash. They were treated at Sarail Upazila Health Complex and local private clinics.
Meanwhile, Sarail Thana police and army personnel reached the spot and brought the situation under control after receiving information about the clash. The Sarail Nasirnagar Regional Road was blocked for at least three hours during the clashes.
