Jumbangla Desk: Mahut Nazrul Islam (35) was crushed under the foot of an elephant in Gopalganj's Kotalipara. His house is in Mogalbasa village of Kurigram Sadar Sadar Upazila. Father's name is Jober Sheikh.

The incident took place on Tuesday (24 September) around 9:30 am in Polsair area of ​​Hiron Union of Kotalipara Upazila.

It is known that Mahut Nazrul Islam got a wrong signal and the elephant threw him off his back and crushed him under his feet. As a result, he was killed on the spot.

Vivekananda Mallik, District Forest Officer of Gopalganj Forest Division, said that a trained team including a veterinarian has already left from Gazipur to control the elephant.
