Former Industries Minister Nurul Majid Humayun was arrested by RAB

Jumbangla Desk: Former Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun has been arrested by law and order forces. On Tuesday (September 24) at 1:22 p.m., his son Manjurul Majid Mahmud Sadi posted on Facebook about his father's arrest.

In the post, he wrote, 'God Almighty, the pride of our Narsingdi - the land of your love and the leader of the people Advocate Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun was arrested from his own residence some time ago. He has not run away, nor will he ever run away. We are by your side and will be inshallah.'

Humayunputra Sadi also wrote, 'You peaceful people of Manohardi Belabo will remain united. Please pray for our family and pray to God for my father's protection. Fee Amanillah.'

Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Detective (DB) Chief Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the arrest of Nurul Majid. He said, RAB has arrested him.
