Thunderstorm forecast in 16 regions including Dhaka

Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department has said that there may be a temporary storm with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour over 16 regions including Dhaka.

This information is given in the weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country till 1 pm on Wednesday (September 25).

It said, 45 to 60 km per hour from south or southeast direction over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Tangail, Mymensingh, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Dhaka, Faridpur, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet areas. Rain or thundershowers with gusty or gusty winds may occur at times.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Apart from this, due to the formation of low pressure in the west-central Bay of Bengal and its adjacent North-West Bay of Bengal, the four seaports of the country have been asked to show warning signal number 3.
