In response, Ritabhari Chakraborty said, 'Abirada feels comfortable with me, there is that understanding. Otherwise our pair would not have progressed so far. We are not a couple like Uttamkumar-Suchitra Sen or Shahrukh Khan-Kajal. So every time we have to create chemistry. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are a real life couple. So people have an idea about them. But we have to make it.'

Describing the experience of shooting intimate scenes, Ritabhari Chakraborty said, 'Abirda has a world of wife and family. I have another world. As humans we are different. But we are respectful and comfortable with each other. I was able to act in the intimate scenes because neither I nor Abirda are sexually active. So in these scenes there was never any discomfort in each other's touch.'

Citing an example, Ritabhari Chakraborty said, "I was able to bring out the chemistry of husband and wife in 'Fatafati' because there is this understanding." I myself saw our pair as spectators. All I can say is, after the Bumbada season, I found that chemistry between our duo. It's like two people really want each other very much."
