Jumbangla Desk: China has given a message about Bangladesh. On Tuesday (August 6), the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson was asked about the situation in Bangladesh.

In response, he said, as a friendly neighbor and strategic partner, China hopes that social stability will return to Bangladesh soon.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina is now staying in India. The country's foreign minister S Jaishankar said that Sheikh Hasina has sought asylum from them on an emergency basis 'within a short period of time'.

He said that India is keeping an eye on the current situation in Bangladesh. Jaishankar also expressed hope that the Bangladesh government would ensure the security of the Indian High Commission.

Jaishankar also said that there were 20 thousand Indian citizens in Bangladesh. At least 8,000 of them have returned. Apart from this, their focus will be on the minorities.
