On Tuesday (September 24) after Asr prayers, he was buried in the local cemetery after the funeral at Bowali Madrasa ground in Kar Betka area of Tangail Sadar Upazila. Earlier, an army helicopter carrying the dead body of the army officer landed at the district headquarters helipad at 3:30 pm. Later, senior army officers received Nirjan's body. At that time some members of the deceased's family were present. Later his body was taken to his home.
