Three Chhatra League leaders arrested in sabotage case

Jumbangla Desk: Three leaders of Chhatra League have been arrested in Brahmanbaria. They were arrested in separate RAB-Police raids on Tuesday (September 24) evening and night.

The arrested are District Chhatra League organizing secretary Ruhul Amin Afridi (26), municipal Chhatra League publicity secretary Zakir Hossain Joy and Chhatra League leader Delwar Hossain Adi.

After investigation, it is known that RAB-9 members arrested Ruhul Amin Afridi from Kazipara area of ​​the district city in the evening. On the other hand, police raided Kandipara and arrested Zakir Hossain Joy and Delwar Hossain Adi.

Brahmanbaria Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozaffar Hossain said Ruhul Amin Afridi was caught by RAB-9. The other two are police. All three have a case of sabotage against them. They clashed with anti-discrimination student activists on August 4 and 5. The process of sending them to court is underway.
