Day temperature may drop by 5 degrees Celsius

Jumbangla Desk: As the monsoon is active over Bangladesh, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in all parts of the country. Along with that, the daytime temperature of the entire country may drop up to 5 degrees Celsius, the agency said.
On Wednesday (September 25) morning, the weather department has forecast the next 72 hours. Out of which, it has been reported that the day temperature will drop up to 5 degrees in the next 24 hours.
The agency said a low pressure is present over west-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal. The extension of monsoon axis extends over Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, low pressure center and Bangladesh into Assam. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay of Bengal.
It has been said about the rainfall, light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thunder may occur in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.
Day temperature may drop by 2-5 degrees Celsius and night temperature by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country.
According to Thursday's (September 26) weather forecast, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers temporarily with gusty winds. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
According to Friday's ( September 27) weather forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur in most parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions and many parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
The extended 5-day forecast states that precipitation trends may decrease.
