Jumbangla Desk:  The chief advisor of the interim government gave a speech on the 'Clinton Global Initiative Leaders Stage' (CGIE) stage. Muhammad Yunus. He highlighted the mass movement of students in the program. At one point, he called three people including his special assistant Mahfuz on the stage and revealed their role in the movement. Mahfuz Alam gave a status about one of them due to controversy.

He posted this on his Facebook status on Wednesday (September 25).

Complaints were raised before, Dr. Joining the CGI event with Yunus is Jahin Rohan, son of the Rajin Awami family. Even his involvement in the movement was questioned.

Al Jazeera's investigative journalist Zulqarnain Sayer Khan also gave a status about him. He also highlighted his political identity.

Mahfuz Alam, Special Assistant on Status, said the man in the CGI program was an intruder and a dishonest person. His intrusion is part of sabotage.

Mahfuz said the man attended the CGI event under his own authority. Delegates including us did not know his presence and purpose. He did not even interact with any of the delegates.

He said, when sir called us to the stage, he rushed towards the stage before us. I could not prevent him from going on stage, although I was suspicious. Besides, I was helpless to world leaders and dignitaries. It is a pre-planned act of assassination by a fascist group. The Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser apologized to the leaders, coordinators and fighters of the movement and uprising. We could not prevent his intrusion.

He added, "We will be very vigilant about the representation of mass uprising in the coming days and bring these intruders and other August 5 protestors to account."
