On Wednesday (September 25), the media adviser of the US Embassy in Dhaka Mr. Steven F. He made this call when a delegation led by Ebeli came to meet the senior officials of the Dhaka University administration.

This information was given in a circular sent by the public relations department of the university. The other members of the four-member delegation are the embassy officials. Scott Hartman, Rayhana Sultana and Jonatha Gomez.


They discussed about dynamizing the entrepreneurship development program, English language skill development program and leadership capacity building program in Dhaka University with the aim of increasing students' skills and better employment.


They emphasized on teacher-student exchange between Dhaka University and various universities in the United States and information exchange between the American Center and Dhaka University.


Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan seeks financial assistance and cooperation from the US delegation to build a new hall to solve the housing crisis for female students of Dhaka University. The members of the delegation assured the Vice-Chancellor to consider the matter seriously.

Meanwhile, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Saima Haque Vidisha and treasurer professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was present in the meeting.


During the meeting, they discussed strengthening the ongoing joint education and research programs between Dhaka University and various universities in the United States. During this time, establishment of American corner and strengthening of Fulbright scholarship program in Dhaka University were discussed.
