Jumbangla Desk: The Interim Government has decided to make the Gana Bhavan a memorial museum of the student uprising. Advisor Asif Mahmud said that this decision was made in the meeting of the advisory council on Thursday.

Adviser Asif Mahmud gave this information in a press conference organized at the Foreign Service Academy in the evening.

He said, “Earlier in the world you know the Maid in Memorial was established in South Korea to preserve her memory in the wake of a mass coup. I will take their experience from where this has happened in other places in the world".

"Visible steps will be taken very quickly on how to make a beautiful museum and how to preserve the memory of the atrocities of the fascist era and the memory of our martyrs. The Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly complete this task," said Advisor Mahmud.

At the same time, Mr. Awami League as a party. Mahmud said, "No decision has been made regarding the trial of the party. The law ministry is looking into the matter of trial. The Law Ministry will soon present a clear outline of how the trial will take place."

In response to another question from the journalists, he said, "This question will be decided by the people of the country. Since Awami League has committed a genocide in this country. The people will decide how they will return with the responsibility of that genocide or whether they will be allowed to return, it is the people's decision.

Earlier, acting chairman of BNP, Tariq Rahman Dosra, in a video message given on the occasion of the organization's founding anniversary in September, said about the creation of a Genocide Museum at the place of Ganabhaban.

In that video message, he said, the memories of martyrs and missing people in the coup will be preserved in this museum. This museum will convey that message to the future generations so that no other ruler in Bangladesh follows the barbaric path of Hasina to stay in illegal power.
