Jumbangla Desk: In Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj. In 2018, Nirmal Malo got a job as a building inspector in the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) through political influence. He became the owner of hundreds of millions of rupees in just 6 years.

Duplex house built on 10 khata land in Bagan Uttarpara village of Kotalipara municipality. In addition, local residents said that they have purchased land anonymously in various areas, including a poultry farm on 20 bigha land in Uttarpara of the municipality, a fish enclosure of 40 bigha land in Ambari of Kandi Union, a fish enclosure of 35 bigha land in Satla of Uzirpur.

On the other hand, it has been reported from various sources that there are modern flats in Lake View Cottage, Road No. 5, D-Block, Aftabnagar, Dhaka, plots and flats in Kuril Vishwarode and Wari and Moghbazar.

Nirmal Malo Rajuk is working as Building Inspector in Mohakhali Zone. He is the son of Nityagopal Malo of Bagan Uttarpara village of Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj. Nityagopal Malo was a petty fishmonger before his son's employment. After Nirmal Malo got the job, his influence and prestige in the area increased along with his economic development.

Using his own influence, his father shared the post of General Secretary of the Upazila Matsyajeevi League for Nitya Malo. Using this political position, father and son became the owners of huge wealth.

A few local residents on the condition of anonymity said, Nirmal Malor has an expensive private car in Dhaka and uses 3 expensive motorcycles himself. There is a business called Cafe Joy Bangla in Kotalipara. How did he become the owner of so much wealth after only 6 years of service? We demand proper investigation and action against Nirmal Malo.

When Nirmal Malo was asked about this, he said, "I don't have any flat or plot in my own name in Dhaka." My father-in-law has bought the flat which is in the name of my wife Urmi Sahar. Some people are spreading false propaganda against us.

Nityagopal Malo said, My daughter-in-law Urmi Saha (Malo) used to work in Arang. He bought a flat in Dhaka with the money from his job. Besides, to my knowledge, there is no flat or plot in Dhaka in the name of my son Nirmal or his wife. Most of the fish enclosures that I do in Kotalipara are leased from different people.
