Army will remember Lt Tanzim's sacrifice with respect: Army Chief

Jumbangla Desk: Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman visited 33 Infantry Division and Comilla area today (September 25).

During the visit, the Chief of Army Staff addressed all ranks of soldiers serving in Comilla Cantonment and delivered his directive speech.

Later he took the 'Officer's Address' to the army officers of all ranks.

At the beginning of his valuable speech, he expressed deep grief over the lonely death of martyr Lt. Tanzim Charwar and expressed his condolences to his bereaved family.

He said, 'Bangladesh Army will remember the sacrifice of this brave young army officer in the service of the motherland with deep respect and Bangladesh Army is proud of him.'

After that, the army chief gave various directions regarding the activities of the army, highlighting the ongoing security situation of the country.

Besides, he visited the activities of Army Medical College Comilla and Ispahani Public School and College.

On this occasion, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 33 Infantry Division and Area Commander Comilla Area, Chief Consultant General of Headquarters, Senior Army Officers of Headquarters and Comilla Area including Ad Hoc CSC, Junior Commissioned Officers and other rank soldiers were present.
