EB student Monir did not return home after class

Jumbangla Desk: A student of Islami University died in a road accident on his way home after class. The name of the deceased student is Monir Hossain. He is a student of 2022-23 academic year of Arabic language and literature department of the university.

On Wednesday (September 25) around 3 pm in Chaudhas area of ​​Kushtia city, a bus-CNG head-on was seriously injured.

He later died at Kushtia Sadar Hospital around 4:30 pm.
His family and departmental sources confirmed the matter. In this incident, a shadow of grief has descended on the campus among the teachers and students.

According to the sources of classmates, Monir's house is in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia.

He finished the class at 2 pm and left for home by CNG from the main gate of the campus. A passenger bus collided head-on with CNG when it reached Chaudhas junction in Kushtia city. He was taken to Kushtia Sadar Hospital with severe head injuries. He died there while undergoing treatment.

Head of Department of Arabic Language and Literature Professor Dr. Abdul Mottalib said, 'We came to the hospital with other teachers after hearing the news of his death. We lost a promising student. The entire department is saddened. I pray for the forgiveness of his soul.'
