Israel's deadly attack in Lebanon, death toll rises to 274

International Desk: The number of dead in Lebanon has increased to 274 in Israel's air strikes. Among them are 21 children and 39 women. More than seven hundred people were injured in this incident.
Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information on Monday (September 23) night, citing the Ministry of Health of Lebanon.
Lebanon's health ministry initially said Monday's Israeli attack killed at least 100 people, including women, children and doctors, and injured more than 300 people. It was later reported that 182 people were killed and 727 were injured.
The Israeli military carried out massive airstrikes on several cities and villages in southern Lebanon on Monday morning. In this regard, a representative of the BBC said that hundreds of installations were attacked by Israeli aircraft in the southern part of Lebanon.
Israel's defense forces said the attacks hit more than 300 Hezbollah installations in southern Lebanon shortly after Monday morning. Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant said attacks on Lebanon are intensifying. The offensive will continue until our goal of returning thousands of displaced Israelis to the north is achieved.
Beyond Lebanon's southern border lies northern Israel. Monday's attack is believed to be the sharpest yet in Israel's ongoing tensions with Lebanon.
An IDF official said the IDF sent mobile phone alerts to local civilians in southern Lebanon before Monday's attack. The warning asked them to evacuate to a safe place.
Earlier, thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies used by members of Lebanon's armed political group Hezbollah exploded last week. More than 40 people lost their lives in Lebanon; Among them there are at least 16 members of Hezbollah. Hezbollah blames Israel for this incident.
