Joy
He gave this information in an interview to the British news agency Reuters on Wednesday (September 25). In the interview, Awami League politics, national elections, reform activities of the current interim government came up.
Sajib Wazed Joy expressed his satisfaction with Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman's support for the interim government to hold new elections within 18 months.
"But we have seen dramas like this before, where an unconstitutional, unelected government promises reforms and then things get worse," Joy said.
Sajib Wazed Joy believes that no effective reforms or elections are possible without the Awami League, the political party that led the liberation war.
"We can see that an unconstitutional, unelected government is talking about reforms in the country, which will make the situation worse," he said.
When asked when Sheikh Hasina can return to the country, Joy said, 'The matter of returning to the country will depend on her (Sheikh Hasina). Right now I want to keep my team safe. I want to show the cruelty of the Yunus government on them to the people of the world.

Army chief Waqar-uz-Zaman said that whatever the situation may be, the army will continue its support.
