Jumbangla Desk: Rajshahi University (Rabi) Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design, Crafts and Art History Department Associate Professor Dr. Monir Uddin Ahmed has been accused of sexual harassment, sexual harassment, result syndicate, threatening to fail students and mental torture.
Besides, this reporter has received some documents of harassing female students with video calls and messages and sending indecent videos late at night. The students of the department have demanded the permanent expulsion of this teacher from the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
In the complaint they mentioned that due to the shortage of teachers in the craft discipline, he alone held the responsibility of all practical classes and marking of each batch. As a result, he established a dictatorship in the department and threatened to fail the students. He molested multiple female students in front of the class and made unnecessary social media calls and messages using sexually suggestive language late at night.
Apart from this, he used to make various indecent and offensive comments about the physical structure and also offered girls to sit on his lap. He would compare women's private parts to the belly of a fish, discuss personal life with married students, ask for details of relationships with husbands and bring up various obscene topics.

In addition, the students mentioned in the complaint that he used his professional capacity to propose relationships to several students.

At 2:48 am, he sent a lewd video titled 'Luchcha Girls' Name' and wrote to a female student matching the name in the video, 'I have not told you, Dunya Boliteche, what will I do?' Another student sent a video of a blue world and wrote, 'Isn't it beautiful? I saw it after a long time.' If the girl did not respond, he wrote again, say nothing? He wrote to another, 'What are you doing on my log, what are you trying to rub?' Why don't you take a video call on your phone? He threatened a female student.
"I was targeted when I entered the first year," said a victim, a female student, who did not want to be named. He called me at various times and interfered in personal matters. I called an urgent academic committee meeting that afternoon to maintain order in the department . The charges brought against the teacher were discussed there. On the advice of all the committee in the meeting, he was suspended from all academic activities of the department.
