On the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday (September 25) local time, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said these interests in a meeting with Muhammad Yunus.

Bangladesh will also benefit from China's decision to grant duty-free access to all products of LDCs. The Chinese Red Cross sent a team of doctors to treat those seriously injured during the July-August mass uprising. Besides, China will welcome more students from Bangladesh.

 


Dr. Muhammad Yunus thanked Wang Yi for such a position of China. He said that Chinese solar companies can invest in Bangladesh on a larger scale. He also urged other Chinese manufacturers to shift their factories to Bangladesh.
