Jumbangla Desk: Ashwin's rain is falling in Dhaka intermittently since morning. Sometimes in torrential rain, sometimes in drizzle. The city's workers and hardworking people have suffered. Traffic jams were seen somewhere on the main roads of the capital. Roads and alleys are flooded. People are suffering in different ways of Dhaka due to traffic jam.

The rain started on Thursday (September 26) morning. In the morning, working people are subjected to such sufferings when they come down to the streets. And on this occasion, rickshaw-CNGs have been seen charging extra fares.

People from different areas of the capital including Mohakhali, Satrasta, Malibagh, Gulshan were seen suffering on their way to office. Among them, one named Shafiqul said, 'It has been raining since morning, I could not get on the bus. I came to the office with a lot of pain. Another person named Karim Hossain said, I thought it would not rain. So I didn't bring an umbrella. But after leaving the road, it started raining in torrents. It was forced to get wet in the rain. He also said that office goers suffered the most due to rain. Fewer buses, waterlogging, traffic congestion, rickshaws, CNG owners are charging more fares.


This meteorologist said that the temperature will start increasing from Friday. But for the time being, Vapsa will not be hot for a few days. Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh divisions will receive heavy rain for at least a few more days. As it is monsoon season, there will be scattered rains all over the country.

 

Abdur Rahman Khan said that the reason for the rain was low pressure. And because the monsoon is active, it is raining.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall was recorded in Kumarkhali 104 mm, Rajshahi 101 mm and Dhaka 44 mm in the last 24 hours. These rains have been recorded till 6 am today.
