Women's T20 World Cup

The women's T20 World Cup will begin on October 3. Jyoti-Rabeira left for the United Arab Emirates on Thursday (September 26) morning to participate in the event.


In 2014, Bangladesh took part in the World Cup for the first time at home. After that he participated in several other events but did not see the face of victory in the world event. This time the captain Nigar Sultana Jyoti wants to make up for that regret. He said such a goal in a press conference at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.


Six-time champions Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are in Group A of the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup. England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland will play with Bangladesh in Group B. Each team will play four matches in the group stage. Bangladesh will face Scotland in the opening match in Sharjah.


Know the schedule of matches of Bangladesh in Women's World Cup:
Group stage matches will be held till October 15. The top two teams of the group stage will play in the semi-finals. The first semi-final will be held in Dubai on October 17 and the second semi-final in Sharjah on October 18. And if India make it to the last four, they will play in the first semi-final. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup title fight will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 20.


Apart from this, before the start of the main season, there will be 10 preparatory matches from September 28 to October 1. All the matches will be played at Dubai Sevens Stadium and ICC Academy Grounds.
