Jumbangla Desk: The Navy recovered weapons and ammunition in the house of Mozaffar Ali in Dighlia upazila of Khulna. However, Mozaffar escaped during the raid.

This information was informed in a press release sent by the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday (September 26).

According to ISPR, the Bangladesh Navy deployed under 'In Aid to Civil Power' has been conducting operations of joint forces to recover weapons in the responsible area. In this continuation, Bangladesh Navy conducted a joint operation in East Katalipara Senhati area of ​​Dighlia Upazila on Thursday.

Mozaffar Ali, the identified terrorist of the area, fled after receiving the news of the operation. Acting on a tip-off, two single-barreled guns and three rounds of live ammunition were recovered from his house and adjoining Kala Bagan area.

The recovered arms and ammunition were later handed over to Dighlia police station. RAB and policemen participated in the joint operation with the navy.

ISPR also said that regular patrols and operations of the Bangladesh Navy will continue in the responsible areas in order to implement the directives of the current government.
