If all goes well, online ticket sales will start from the upcoming home series in South Africa. BCB president Farooq Ahmed told the media yesterday.

He was saying, 'The games we have, it is difficult to control with paper tickets. We are going to digitize the ticketing system. Directors feel that it can be a good source of revenue for the board in international matches, BPL.'

'Earlier there was a very small, small part online. We will digitize it 70-80 percent as much as suits us. We will have the account of every ticket.'- He added.

Talking about special measures to prevent black market of tickets, Farooq said, 'We have to give some tickets courtesy, there are some agencies who work. They have some demands. Sports Ministry, RAB, Police, those who live, I have taken into consideration. Courtesy tickets so we can identify them. The ticket will have a QR code. We are going to make arrangements to understand which is courtesy, which is revenue ticket.'

"There are two Test matches ahead. This series will be a pilot project. Don't have to buy more tickets, test matches don't get more spectators. How management can be, these will be discussed. As the series is so close, we will see. If those who are making the system can give, then we will try.'
