Jumbangla Desk: An allegation has been received against a madrasa superintendent of engaging in immoral activities with a teacher. However, after looking into the matter, a complaint has been made against the madrasa superintendent of severely beating a student.

A similar incident happened at Bangadda Darul Falah Hamidiya Boys and Girls Dakhil Madrasa in Nangalkot Upazila.

Accused Maulana Shah Mohammad Nizam Uddin Hamidi is the Superintendent of Madrasati.

The victim, Faisal Mahmud (14), is the son of Jasim Uddin, a resident of Munsi Bari, Raikot Paschim Para of the upazila. He is a 8th class student of madrasa.

It is known that on the night of September 12, Faisal and three students went to the roof of the residential building of the madrasa. At that time, Faisal saw through the window that in a nearby building, teacher Nizam Uddin Hamidi was having an immoral act with a female teacher in his office. The next day when the matter came to light in the madrasa, Superintendent Nizam Uddin asked Faisal to keep the incident a secret. But Faisal did not keep it a secret and informed everyone. Nizam was angry with Faisal.

Later on Tuesday, Faisal stayed in the residential building without attending classes due to illness. Nizam severely beat Faisal on the pretext of not attending class due to the previous incident. On hearing the news, Faisal's mother rescued him from the madrasa and admitted him to the hospital. Even after 4 days of treatment, Faisal's body showed signs of beating.

Faisal's mother Halima Begum said, 'My son told me about Super Nizam's misdeeds. I warn him to keep it a secret. But as he is young, he informs everyone. But Nizam Huzur severely beat my child and injured him. I want a fair trial'.

Locals said that it has become Nizam's profession to misbehave with madrassa teachers and students. As the Nizam was a native, no one dared to protest against him. Guardians are disoriented by Nizam's rampant immorality.

Accused Shah Muhammad Nizam Uddin Hamidi said that eighth grade student Faisal was absent from class without taking leave. I flogged him for speaking loudly when I asked him the reason for not coming to class. His body was hurt by whipping. Apologies to the family. Unethical activities are not true.

In this regard, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Nashir Uddin said, I heard the matter through journalists. If a complaint is received from the family, action will be taken subject to investigation.
