Jumbangla Desk: DB Police arrested 31 people including 13 women on charges of involvement in anti-social activities by raiding a residential hotel in Mymensingh.

 

On Friday (September 27), various rooms of Amir Hotel, Khan Hotel, Asha Hotel, Khawaja Hotel, Hafezia Hotel, Rupmahal, Sharif and Mordan Hotel were raided and arrested.

This information was informed in a press release sent from the office of the District Intelligence Branch on Friday (September 27) around 8 pm.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of the district intelligence branch. Shahidul Islam said, there are many complaints that anti-social activities are going on in various resorts of the city such as Silver Castle and various hotels in Charpara and Bypass areas. The owners of these hotels and resorts are being warned in this regard. Still if these activities continue then strict action will be taken against them.

Police officer Shahidul Islam said that a case was filed against 31 arrested people at Kotwali Model Police Station and they were handed over to the court.
