This coordination committee of 10 members was formed on September 21 to revise and revise all the textbooks prepared and printed by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).

Since the formation of the committee, objections to the two members have been raised by Islamic scholars, religious political leaders and academics. Many expressed the fear that the religious values ​​and other religious and moral values ​​of the majority of the people of the country would be damaged.


Various organizations protested by human chain and protest. They claim that there are two persons in the committee whose roles have been questioned for various reasons in the past. They are accused of working with religious hatred and foreign agenda in particular.


Conscious civil society formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Friday.

The speakers demanded the removal of two members of the National Textbook Revision Committee, Kamrul Hasan Mamun and Samina Lutfa, calling them anti-Islamists. At the same time, Islamic scholars were demanded to be included in the committee.
