According to the report of Pakistani media Dawn , the dead soldiers are - Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shaukat, Lancenaik Muhammad Ullah, Lancenaik Yusuf Ali, Lancenaik Shahid Ullah, Lancenaik Akhtar Zaman and Sepoy Jamil Ahmed.


According to the ISPR statement, militants clashed with an army team led by Lt Col Muhammad Ali Shaukat late on Friday night in the district bordering Afghanistan. Five soldiers including Shaukat were killed in the firing between the two sides.
