Own Correspondent, Gazipur: A college student named Asir Intisharul Haque was shot dead during the anti-discrimination student movement in Sreepur, Gazipur. A murder case was filed at Sreepur police station last Friday (04 October) with father Aham Enamul as the plaintiff in that incident. A deceased person named Kala Mia has been accused in this. The family and relatives of the deceased expressed their anger in this incident .

Accused in the case of murder of the deceased in Gazipur!

It has been reported that college student Asir Intisharul Haque was killed in indiscriminate firing during the movement to overthrow the Awami League government on August 5. His father Aham Enamul filed a case at Sreepur police station on October 4 as the plaintiff. And in that case the accused number 170 has been made late Kala Mia. In addition, the names of 227 Awami League leaders and workers, including the former Minister of Liberation War AKM Mozammel Haque, and 100 to 150 unknown people have been accused in that case.

Late Kala Mia was a resident of Dhamlai village of Kauraid union of Sripur upazila. He died of a heart attack on September 25. Kala Mia Kawraid Union was the former propaganda secretary of Awami League.

When the plaintiff Aham Enamul's mobile phone was called to inquire about the case, the connection was found to be disconnected. That is why his statement was not available.

Alamgir Hossain, son of the late Kala Mia, said, "My father used to do Awami League politics." So the dead people should be charged with murder? Father died last September 25. So how did the police take the case in the name of the father? We family members suffered a lot.

Kawraid Union Parishad (UP) member of Ward number 6. Alam Khan said Kala Mia died on September 25. After the funeral at his house that day, the body was buried in the family cemetery. I was present during the funeral and burial.

Kawraid UP chairman Azizul Haque confirmed the truth about Kala Mia's involvement with Awami League politics. He said, how can the man who died on September 25 be accused in the murder case? This is proof of police irresponsibility.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station Zainal Abedin Mondal said, "I could not identify whether the accused was dead at the time of the statement." The matter will be investigated.

Gazipur District Police Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Kaliakoi Circle Ajmir Hossain said that the case is being investigated. If such act is done, necessary legal action will be taken after investigation.
