The adviser of the Ministry of Social Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs said this in response to the questions of the journalists at the press conference organized on the activities of the two ministries under the Secretariat on Sunday.

He said that 105 children died in the uprising. It has been finalized by the Department of Health Care and we have taken the information from there. On World Children's Day on Monday (October 7), we will give Tk 50,000 and certificates to the families of every child killed. It is listed for children up to 18 years of age.

The advisor also said that the grant handing over ceremony will be held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium.

The adviser also said that a total of Tk 82 lakh 70 thousand 898 services have been provided to the students injured in the anti-discrimination movement through the Social Service Office and the Upazila Patient Welfare Association.

He said that we are receiving 5 million US dollars from the World Bank for the rehabilitation and treatment of the students and workers injured in the popular uprising. We are at the final stage of its formalities, the amount will be released soon.

Calling for day-care centers in all government institutions, the adviser said, the ministry will cooperate in this regard.
