Jumbangla Desk: There has been a complaint of recording a secret video of a college student changing her clothes at the much-discussed Ma General Hospital located in Kashinathpur Bazar of Santhia Upazila in Pabna. Hospital manager Ismail Hasan secretly recorded the video of the student while wearing the clothes provided by the clinic before doing the heart ECG.

This incident took place at Ma General Hospital and Diagnostic Center located in Kashinathpur last Friday (October 4) afternoon. The incident was reported on Sunday. The patient of the victim is an honors student of a college. He went to the clinic with his parents for treatment.

Kashinathpur Union Awami League Propaganda Secretary Jahangir Karim Khan Rubel is the owner of Ma General Hospital. This hospital of his has received special recognition for various incidents including childbirth, neonatal death due to undertreatment.

The victim's father said that his daughter was taken to the private hospital doctor Abdus Sabur for treatment. Doctor asks for ECG and ultrasonogram. Hospital manager Ismail Hasan took his daughter to the ECG room. Go there and tell them to change clothes and do ECG and ultrasonogram. He was given clothes provided by the hospital. He was asked to go to the hospital bathroom to wear the clothes. At that time the manager Ismail Hasan started recording the video of the change of clothes over the bathroom door. At one point, his daughter realized and screamed. The girl came and informed her parents. At that time, the relatives of the other patients nearby detained the accused manager.

The victim's father said he informed the hospital owner Rubel Khan. Rubleke requested the manager to delete the video. But Rubel Khan instead helps his manager escape from the hospital. Later, Rubel Khan called the local cadre force and forced the victims to leave the hospital by intimidating them.

He added, 'My daughter is single and studying in Hons. Now if that video spreads on social media, then he will have no option but to commit suicide.'

When contacted on the phone of the accused manager Ismail Hasan, his phone was found switched off.

Jahangir Karim Khan Rubel, the owner of the hospital, said that the manager had fled. Action will be taken against him. In this regard Santhia Upazila Health and P.P. Officer Dr. Abdul Baten said that they have committed a serious injustice.

Santhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saidur Rahman said that no one has complained to the Police Station about this yet. Legal action will be taken if complaints are received.

Pabna Civil Surgeon Dr. Shahidullah Dewan said on Sunday night that he came to know about it on Sunday evening. He said that he had earlier instructed the clinic owners to be careful about doing ECG or ultrasonogram on female patients. The Kashinathpur incident falls under the category of criminal offence.
