International Desk: The sailors said that the fish was found in the river Ganges flowing by Ramna in Ramnagar, Varanasi. When hearing the name Amazon, the first thing that comes to everyone's mind is the fearsome creature. Because the dense forest of the Amazon has a variety of terrifying animals and plants and the Amazon River has many monstrous fish.

Demon fish

Imagine if a fish from the Amazon River could be seen in the Ganges River, how terrible would it be? Just such a terrible incident happened in the river Ganga in Varanasi. An amazing fish has been found in the river Ganges in Varanasi, which shows that this fish is not a native fish. And as soon as this news was heard, panic was created in everyone's mind. The scientific community has started uproar.

Sailors said the fish was found in the river Ganga, which flows past Ramna in Ramnagar, Varanasi. By looking at the fish's peculiar shape, body structure, and skin color, scientists say the fish is an Amazon river fish. The fish is known as sackermouth catfish. Scientists also said that the fish is a carnivore and the fish will destroy the ecosystem of the river Ganges. So the scientists warned that the fish should not be released back into the river Ganga after getting it. Because the fish is a carnivore, it will eat the smaller fish in the Ganga.

But the question on everyone's mind is how did the fish enter the Ganga from the distant Amazon?? The reason for this is that different types of fish are kept in aquariums for commercial reasons. Maybe someone accidentally released the aquarium fish into the river Ganges. And maybe this is why the sailors saw the fish. Even before this, this carnivorous fish was found in the Ganges River and the Amazon River. A few years ago this fish was seen in the Partner Ganga in Bihar and in the Brahmaputra river in lower Assam.

Scientists say that the fish breed very quickly. and can grow up to 49 cm. Also the fish can weigh up to 310 grams. The fish survives on aquatic algae and small fish. Therefore, scientists believe that the fish can disrupt the ecosystem of the Ganges by eating many small fish.
