Popular Bollywood singer Adnan Sami's mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan (77) passed away.

The musician announced the death of his mother on social media on Monday morning. Sami shared the emotional moment in an open letter.

Posting his mother's picture, Adnan wrote - 'It is with sadness that I inform you that my mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan has passed away. Our family is deeply saddened. My mother was a person who will be remembered forever. I will miss your touch and love very much. May my mother's soul rest in peace. May God rest the mother in eternal peace.'

In such a post of the singer, fans expressed their condolences to his family.

Adnan Sami's last Bollywood song is 'Bhar Do Jholi Meri'. The song from Salman Khan's 2015 blockbuster 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was a super hit.

According to sources in Indian entertainment media Pinkvilla, Adnan Sami will be singing a romantic song in the upcoming musical horror movie 'Kasoor'.
