Jumbangla Desk: This year's HSC and equivalent exam results will be published on October 15.
Dhaka Education Board Chairman and Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee President Tapan Kumar Sarkar gave this information this evening.
On October 15, at 11 am, the respective board chairmen will publish the results on the website simultaneously from their offices.
According to sources in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education decided to give the results of the HSC and equivalent examinations based on the marks obtained in the SSC and equivalent examinations (subject mapping) in the remaining subjects after evaluating the records of the subjects that were tested earlier.
A total of 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 students participated in the HSC and equivalent exams this year. After eight days of examinations as per the routine published in the first phase, all examinations on July 18 were postponed due to the situation caused by the anti-discrimination student movement.
Later the examination was suspended in three phases. Remaining exam subjects were written and practical.
The exams were scheduled to resume from September 11 after several postponements. But following the demands of the students, the remaining exams were canceled on August 20.
