Gangajali Nadu

The ingredients for making Gangajali Nadu are few. But what is required is patience. This is not the term for instant cooking. So if you ever think of making Gangajli Nadu at home, keep plenty of time in hand. Otherwise the nadu will not be prepared well.

Know the recipe-

Ingredients:
Coconut batter or Kora – 1 cup
sugar – 1 cup
water – 1/2 cup
small cardamom – 4
camphor – 1 pinch

Method:

First soak the coconut in water for some time. In this, while grating, the hard part of the coconut shell does not mix into the white coconut pulp.
Then peel off the white part of the coconut and grind it. You can grind it in a blender. If you want, you can also take it by courier. But do not add water while kneading. Now heat a kadai, start making sira with sugar and water on very low flame. Mix it with crushed cardamom. You can also use cardamom powder if you want. Now when the sugar juice is dark, remove the cardamoms and throw them away. Then add the coconut batter to it and mix the coconut juice completely. Make sure that the sugar juice does not turn brown, i.e. the sugar does not caramelize.

How to understand lasting love

This will turn the coconut red and the lentils will not look right. Now mix a pinch of camphor in it and pour it in a big tray or plate and wait for it to dry. Once dry, it needs to be made into a fine powder by beating it once more in a blender. Many people eat this powder as a sweet. But it looks more beautiful if you roll the nadu with it or mold it into crescent shape.
