The National Conference (NC)-Congress alliance and the BJP are ahead in Haryana in the preliminary results of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.

The National Conference (NC)-Congress alliance and the BJP are ahead in Haryana in the preliminary results of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.

The counting of votes for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana began on Tuesday morning. After the initial count in both the states, it appears that the results of the booth return polls have not been found. The survey mentioned the tri-corner assembly in Jammu and Kashmir. But there the Congress-National Conference alliance is ahead in 48 seats. BJP is ahead in 28 seats. PDP in four. 46 seats are required to form the government.

Haryana's 90-member assembly is in a fierce battle. Initially Congress was ahead but later BJP left them behind. BJP is now leading in 47 seats, Congress in 37 and others in four seats. BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time if this trend of back and forth does not change. And it will be a big political blow to the Congress.

Because, this time in Haryana, farmers were angry with the BJP, the controversy over wrestlers had an impact on the common man, people were angry because of rising prices of goods. Even then, if the Congress fails to win the state, it will mark the failure of the Rahul Gandhi-Mallikarjuna Kharg alliance.

The intense factionalism of the Congress in Haryana has sunk the party many times in the past. This time the group conflict was strong. Bhupinder Hooda, Kumari Shailja, Randeep Singh Surajwala could not fight as one. But they were so sure of the party's victory that the fight over who would be the Chief Minister started.

In Jammu and Kashmir BJP had to win massively in Jammu and Kashmir to come to government. But this time there was people's anger against BJP in Jammu. The initial results have reflected that. Congress has contested more seats in Jammu. NC in Kashmir.

People in Kashmir voted more for National Conference. PDP is ahead in only four seats. Omar Abdullah's team is ahead in the rest. Although Omar did not win the last Lok Sabha elections, he pulled the party in the assembly elections.

However, in Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor will nominate seven MLAs. They will get all the benefits like an elected MLA. They can also vote.

After the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, this is the first assembly election. The Congress-National Conference made this issue one of the issues of the election campaign in the Valley polls.
