Daughter-in-law Runa killed her mother-in-law Hayatun Necha by strangulation in Singair of Manikganj and left Sindhu behind. The police recovered the body from inside the chest in the bedroom of his house around 7:30 pm on Sunday. At this time, Runa and her mother were arrested.

The body was sent to Manikganj Colonel Malek Medical Hospital for autopsy on Monday morning.

The deceased Hayatun Necha (65) is the wife of Mahamud Kazi of Nayadangi village in the municipal area of ​​that upazila.

In this incident, daughter-in-law Runa Begum and son's mother-in-law were arrested by the locals and handed over to the police.

According to local sources, the expatriate Abdul Khalek's wife Runa and her mother-in-law were living in their house. Sometimes Runa Begum goes somewhere else without asking. There was an argument with the mother-in-law about this. As a result, the mother-in-law went missing after an argument between the two on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the daughter-in-law went to her grandmother's house in Upazila Dhalla area on Sunday morning. As the house was empty, the relatives started looking for Hayatun Necha. In the evening, when the wife returned home with her mother, Runa found the dead body in the coffin at one stage of questioning by the relatives. The police received the information and recovered the body. The daughter-in-law and her mother were arrested in this incident.

In this regard, the OC of Singair police station. Jahidul Islam confirmed the arrest of two people and said that it is believed that they were strangled to death. The body was recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy. A case has been registered at the police station.
