Jumbangla Desk: Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has denied being involved in the performance of Islamic music at the Pujamandap in Chittagong.

In a press release signed by Salauddin Akash, Publicity Secretary of Chittagong Metropolitan North Branch of the organization, it is said, "False propaganda was started on social media alleging the involvement of Chhatra Shibir in the incident that took place during the festival of the Hindu community at JM Sen Hall on Thursday, October 10 at 8 pm."

The notification further clarified that the student camp has no involvement with this incident.

Fakhrul Islam, president of Shibir's Chittagong Metropolitan North Branch, and Tanjir Hossain Jewel, secretary, strongly condemned the dissemination of 'intentionally wrong information'.
