International Desk: Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabad to attend the international forum. During the visit, Putin will participate in the international forum titled 'Interrelation of Times and Civilizations - Basis of Peace and Development'.

The Russian President will meet Iran's President Masoud Pezheshkian on the sidelines of the international forum.
This year's international forum is expected to be attended by heads of international organizations including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Turkic States, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United, as well as more than ten state leaders.

During the meeting with Pezeshkian, Putin plans to discuss bilateral issues and the evolving situation in the Middle East. This was confirmed by the President's aide Yuri Ushakov. The two leaders will also discuss other bilateral issues.
