According to the notification, according to the roadmap announced by the Saudi government, the process of setting up tents in Mina and Arafa and signing contracts with service companies will begin on October 23. Allotment of tents is on first come first serve basis.

The notification informed that if the pilgrim registration is not completed by October 23, the tent allocation in the desired zone in Mina and Arafa will not be available.

If there is a delay in accepting the tent and signing the contract with the service company, the pilgrims will have to stay in the mountainous area or New Mina area far away from Jamarah. As a result, Hajj pilgrims will have to walk a long way in Saudi Arabia in hot sun and heat, which will be difficult for Hajj pilgrims. For that reason, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has requested registration within the stipulated time.

Prior to this, the preliminary registration for Hajj started on September 1. According to the circular of the Ministry of Religion, anyone who is previously or newly pre-registered can do initial registration by depositing three lakh rupees. Registration will continue through both government and private channels and the process will continue till November 30.

The full price of the Hajj package must be paid within the stipulated time. The price of this year's Hajj package will depend on the cost of Saudi Arabia and the airfare.

The pre-registration fee is Tk 30 thousand both through government and private channels. For Bangladesh, the quota of pilgrims in 2025 is 1 lakh 27 thousand 198 people. Initial registration will automatically close once this quota is reached.
