Jumbangla Desk: Bangladesh Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan left Dhaka for Japan today (October 14) on an official visit with his wife and two companions.

Chief of Bangladesh Air Force will visit Japan on 14-18 October 2024 at the invitation of Chief of Staff of Japan Self Defense Force, General Uchikura Hiroyaki.

During the visit, the Air Force Chief will attend various programs including the 'Indo-Pacific Air Chiefs Conference in Takyo (InPACT)' on the occasion of 'Air Force Forum in Japan (AFFJ)'. Air force chiefs, senior military and civilian officials of various countries will attend the event.

Also, the Chief of the Air Force will hold courtesy calls and exchange views on matters of mutual interest with the Air Force Chiefs of the participating countries.

The visit of the Air Force Chief will further strengthen the existing cordial relations between Bangladesh and Japan which will expand the scope of mutual cooperation in the professional sector.

The Air Force Chief will return to the country on October 18 after the visit.- ISPR
