Wash half a kg of spinach, drain the water and cut into small pieces. Wash half a cup of dal well and drain the water. Heat oil in a pan and fry onion and garlic. Add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, chili powder to taste, ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and salt to taste. Add the washed lentils to the masala. Fry well and add 1 cup of water. When the dal is slightly cooked, cover the pan with spinach. Water will rise from the vegetables. You can add some more water if necessary. Add sliced ​​green chillies two minutes before cooking.

 


Heat oil for bagar in another pan and fry dry chillies, onion and garlic. When the onion-garlic turns brown, spread it over the spinach and serve.
