Abdul Shukkar Liton, general secretary of Pahartali Dim Artdar Cooperative Society, confirmed the matter to the media on Monday (October 14) afternoon.

He said, 'Yesterday Sunday we had to buy eggs for 12 taka 80 paisa. The price set by the government is 11 taka 01 paisa. Also, those from whom I am buying eggs are not giving receipts. I have stopped selling eggs from today to avoid harassment. If I can buy at the government price, then I will sell the eggs.'
