Jumbangla Desk: Some farmers have stopped selling eggs due to not being able to buy eggs at the government price, not giving receipts and being fined in mobile court raids.

Abdul Shukkar Liton, general secretary of Pahartali Dim Artdar Cooperative Society, confirmed the matter to the media on Monday (October 14) afternoon.
He said, 'Yesterday Sunday we had to buy eggs for 12 taka 80 paisa. The price set by the government is 11 taka 01 paisa. Also, those from whom I am buying eggs are not giving receipts. I have stopped selling eggs from today to avoid harassment. If I can buy at the government price, then I will sell the eggs.'
